Abstract

The real estate sector plays a crucial role in the economic development of urban centers, contributing significantly to GDP growth, employment, and investment opportunities. However, the stability of housing markets, especially in rapidly growing cities, remains a concern due to speculative investments, price volatility, and the impact of macroeconomic factors. This paper presents an economic outlook on real estate investment trends and housing market stability in urban centers. It examines the factors driving real estate investment, including demographic shifts, urbanization, policy interventions, and financial accessibility. Furthermore, it assesses the challenges faced by housing markets, such as inflation, interest rates, and supply-demand imbalances. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis, the study highlights the key trends in real estate investment, focusing on residential and commercial properties in major urban centers. It also discusses policy recommendations for ensuring long-term housing market stability. The findings suggest that while urban real estate markets continue to attract investments, there is a need for enhanced regulation and proactive policies to stabilize the housing sector and prevent speculative bubbles.
